Barta Extended!

Let’s try an make this as simple as possible.

In this example customer A has purchased season tickets and been a $1,000 per year donor for the last 20 years . Customer A will have a certain level of priority points Now let’s say Customer A wants to give up their seats for a year but resume a year later. Customer A would get their seats back as long as they have highest priority points for the exact seats they are requesting. Now let’s switch to this year. If someone isn’t comfortable due to Covid then fine you sit this year out. Iowa will still give you the priority points and if you come back in 2021 you will get your seats back as long as no one who has higher priority points than you also want to purchase those seats.

So when Iowa says they can’t guarantee you will get your seats in 2021 if you skip 2020 it is because nothing is any different than any other year. The only difference between 2020 and 2004 is that this year Iowa is giving priority point to existing season ticket holders whether or not they actually purchase tickets.

I am glad clone fans think this is totally disgusting.

What does capacity have to do with people feeling comfortable going to games this year? There are going to be a ton of people who won't feel comfortable going to games this year whether or not the stadium is full of half full

I didn't see Jamie release a plan for full capacity promising seats back to people who did not re up season tickets. Did I miss that?

Jamie said nobody was at risk for losing their seats no matter what capacity was a week ago today

I assume you're talking about Legend and he deserves this so I'm not going to stop. He called me a troll and a liar yesterday and I was actually 100% correct

You are a troll and a liar. Iowa hasn't released their limited seating policy at all. When/if they do and they don't offer seats back for existing season ticket holders I will call out Barta. I got no problem calling out Barta.

Name calling and false accusations should be enough to get you banned.

I literally just showed you a link where your associate AD said seats aren't guaranteed. What are you talking about?

Same policy as always right now for Iowa. When Iowa comes out with a limited capacy stadium plan, they aren't going go leave the 15K or so season ticket holders who can't get tickets out in the cold and losing their seats.

What is the story on that?

If my memory is correct, Blum tweeted about the increase ISU has had in football attendance the last 10 years and only compared it to the decrease Iowa has had in the same time frame.

I dont remember the exact exchange but Dochterman came in and gave him the equivalent of a dad spanking his 3 year old in Target for not keeping his hands in the cart.

Blum then said maybe he should have left Iowa out of the comparison.

Calling somebody a liar multiple times, especially when he is 100% correct, isn't acceptable.

Weird, cause in this very thread in response to a mod who fell for Twins troll, I called Twins a troll and a liar.

Really? How many programs have jumped the gun and released limited seating policies for their stadiums?

Iowa is the only program I've heard come out and say you're at risk of losing your seats if you aren't comfortable going to games this year. I honestly can't believe you're defending this

Doc is a bigger fan of Iowa than Blum is of Iowa State so this could be true
