Iowa Football Recruiting

Twins was able to recognize it so easily because he was running the exact same troll with Daine Hanson. Game recognize game.

For real though, no troll on Bollers.

21 carries for 38 yards.

The game where Illinois was stacking 9 or 10 guys in the box on every play? Yeah, Goodson struggled in that game. Luckily since Illinois was selling out so hard to stop the run, Iowa was able to torch them through the air.

Listen, I’m in no way trying to denigrate Hall. He’s a really good back, and he could easily end up being the better of the two between he and Goodson when all is said and done. But Goodson and Hall put up identical yard per carry numbers as freshmen - only Goodson actually did it against a bunch of good defenses, while Hall faced almost exclusively mediocre to awful defenses. I’m sorry if you don’t like it, but those are facts.

Do you think Toren Young is better than Goodson because he put up better yards per carry than Goodson?

Also why do you ignore the fact that Hall is a RB who is a threat in the passing game where Goodson isn't?

I'm guessing you guys will land Alt and will be done with Offensive line recruits. Maro is not deciding until about November so we've got a long time to wait. Most OL Classes will be wrapped up by then.

Yes, Moore grew up a Hok; however, there is a mutual love between Campbell and Moore. ISU staff thinks he has NFL potential. Moore gave Hok an ultimatum and they decided they would pass on Moore. That would be a pretty hard back track for them.

The ISU staff only offered Moore because Llewellyn turned down CMC. Same with Iowa, if they offer Moore, it will be because they miss out on Fidone.

Not that there is anything wrong with that, Moore could be an outstanding talent, but lets not pretend like he was either programs first choice.

If Alt and Myslinski want to commit, Iowa would take both of them.

I am sure the Iowa coaches were open with Moore and told him he might get an offer down the road.

Listen I told this board Iowa was only after Bruce, Brecht, Johnson and Bell at WR, and that played out. I told this board that after the Bowie and Llewellyn commits that Iowa was only after Pittman or Benny. I am saying Iowa will take both Alt and Myslinski if they pick Iowa. Anyone saying any different on these topics is simply trolling. Twins troll about Hanson and Noel are simply that, trolls.

That literally is our stand. Fans expect and want Sweet 16 appearances. Just making it to the tournament doesn't cut it for the majority of fans. Not sure why you can't believe that

LOLOLOLOL, ISU basketball standard isn't Sweet 16, and that isn't what you said anyway. You said a "decent season", and just making the NCAA Tournament is a "decent season" anything can happen from there.

Claiming Sweet 16's are ISU standard would be like claiming Iowa's standard is Big10 titles and 10 win season because they did that 3 years in a row for football for wins and 2 out of 3 years in Big10 titles.

Iowa won the conference championship 2 out of 3 years??? I remember them losing to MSU in one, what two did they win? Or are you talking back in the WWII timeframe?

Slightly after WWII.

Either way you gotta agree that saying Sweet 16's are ISU's standard is just dumb, right?

He played one defense that was in the top-40. Also simply basing your entire opinion on ypc is flawed considering you can have a game where you have 2 rushes for 20 yards and have the exact same ypc than if you rushed 10 times for 100..

Also I question the validity of all of these rankings when I see offensively Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan are all in the top-25, with Minnesota being ranked #7 in the nation.
