I've been high on Miller since day one
I was high on Miller as well. I hope for the best for him, even if that means playing at ISU. I for one would root hard for him to succeed in every game outside the Iowa vs ISU game.

@Legend Hawk what zero star kids did Parker get a Thorpe award for?
It was an expression. There isn't really such thing as a "zero star" recruit, they all get at least a 2 star ranking.
So why did you refer to a 3 star recruit with multiple Big Ten offers as a zero star recruit?

If you want everything to be literal, then I would say Phil is going to find a 2* - 4* recruit and develop them into an All Big10 level players and future NFL'er. Not worried about who Phil recruits, he will simply find guys that will produce great results.
I've seen many Iowa DB's get burnt when they actually have to face good WRs over the years but OK
Bill Belichick's defense has gotten pummeled many times over the years too. What's your point?
If you don't think recruiting matters I don't know what to tell ya

Hold on, you don't think good DB's get burnt? Heck do good QB's throw picks, or good WR drop balls?

I mean people call for Riley Moss to be benched on Twitter it seems like every time he has to play
Recruiting matters tremendously. That is why I am glad we got Phil at DB's coach who finds talent all the time and develops those players into All Big10 caliber on the field and puts them in the NFL as well.
Here is a better response to that statement.

Harmon was a prop 48 kid? You do know prop 48 wasn’t enacted until after Harmon left Iowa.
