I'd like to add that that calculation is not always exact or correct. 1 rep max is pretty much dead in athletics due to the high risk of injury not to mention it is more important to have functional strength rather than pure strength. The difference being functional strength would be being having endurance to consistent lifting a semi-heavy to heavy weight. This is why bench is so important for linemen. It shows endurance. Pure strength would be how much weight can you lift once. This really only matters if you are trying to be the strongest man alive. Not sure why
@Brodie0 disagreed with my statement. It's literally a fact. Someone who can lift 350lbs 1 time is stronger than someone who can lift 275-5 times. That's just a fact. You can do the conversion, but it comes down to can the dude put the weight on the bar and lift it. Simple as that
