I thought it was common knowledge that Purdy wasn’t a take for Alabama. Don’t know why you would get so worked up over that, it doesn’t diminish his talent at all. It takes a unique athletic talent to pick up a legit Bama offer (i.e. Daviyon Nixon).

I thought it was common knowledge that Purdy wasn’t a take for Alabama. Don’t know why you would get so worked up over that, it doesn’t diminish his talent at all. It takes a unique athletic talent to pick up a legit Bama offer (i.e. Daviyon Nixon).

I know. For some reason he can't handle the fact the Alabama's offer was as a preferred walk-on. Who cares. Purdy is a good player, although maybe not as clutch as some of the Top College QB's.

No he received a preferred walk-on offer. I don't know what a fake offer is. Usually teams do invite preferred walk-ons to visit campus. I know Iowa does this.

I was asking about Oregon State's football history and how it compared to ISU's football history? Any thoughts on that?

Also, I believe Evy and Hayden are already in the College Football HOF (as coaches from Iowa) and guessing Kirk will be as well.
