If you want to see actual speed by an RB

Every projected Iowa started for 2020 has started in the past. Phil Parker gives iowa the advantage. What objective measure do you use to say ISU has more talent at RB, in depth. I will grant you the starter looks good, but you’ve basically got nothing else proven.

I will admit my DB pick is a bit of a homer call.
Whilst they did start at some point during the season at DB, they weren’t the main starts correct?

Past the RB starts judging depth, I would go off projected talent. Yes I agree you have Sargent as Goodson’s back up but I feel like most Iowa fans on her will say he’s an average AT BEST rb but is in all honesty a below average back. If he didn’t have the stud OL in front of him, he would be real bad. I think J. Brock for isu showed great flashes of some talent when he did play. If anything, I’d call the RB an edge to isu with a wash in the depth department

Honestly every single one of those highlights is pretty much identical to the thread of Goodson highlights someone posted above.

So you think Goodson is as good as All American Breece Hall? Lol cmon. Hall is bigger, faster, stronger and better

Goodson is better IMO. IIRC, Hall averaged 3.1 yards per carry against good defenses, and Goodson averaged over 5 yards per carry. Goodson has way quicker feet than Hall and is bigger and stronger. Both are good backs though.

Wait you think Goodson is bigger and stronger than Hall? Hall is 3 inches taller and 15 lbs heavier
He should cut back at the training table then. I'm wondering if Hall is aware of the ongoing obesity epidemic in these United States.
