Iowa Football Recruiting

More like showing what it is when clone fans cry about SOS. I can hear it in coming from Pollard in his whiny voice “it’s not fair we have to play so many teams that are better than us”.
Even in your sniveling response your whine about SOS. Solid show of obsession with ISU sos.

I only mock SOS posts that come from clone fans. When they quit crying about SOS I will quit mocking them for it. As I see it SOS is a coping mechanism deep rooted into the psyche of clone fans. So far we can’t even go a day without hearing about it.

What do you think jmb will clone fans ever give up on their SOS crutch?
The funny thing is you don't come across as mocking. You come across as a mental midget with a spectacular ability to whine non-stop. I am just serious.

I always thought comparing position groups was silly because they don't compete qb vs qb, rb vs rb, etc. You'd need to look at OL vs DL, etc. I just don't know enough about Iowa to jump into that now plus I'm on my phone and that's way too much for me now.

Regarding the missed spring session it's gonna hurt both teams, but probably Iowa more. Breaking in a new qb and supposedly new starter on the OL in the Indiana transfer is really gonna set back the cohesion. Iowa state should be further along in that regard, but the OL is a concern. I don't think defense will be effected as much. Maybe their conditioning depending on when they can start up again, but the offensive units are the ones who need their timing more, at least to me.

So tell me then why clone fans always use SOS as an excuse for why isu doesn’t win more games? I say it is a crutch they use on a daily basis to feel better about a 7 win season. I further mock it by showing that clone fans don’t really understand that when they say isu would have won more games with a different SOS what they are really saying is it isn’t fair that isu plays so many teams that are better than them.

If I am the mental midget you claim, it should be very simple for you to have a well thought out and fact based response. Give me a power ranking that shows isu would be anything other than 7-6 with Iowa’s schedule. Show the mental midget objective evidence isu would beat Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, Minnesota or USC. We already know isu lost to Iowa. Or you can go down the same road most isu fans go down and simply respond that’s dumb and move on.

A straw man fallacy occurs when someone takes another person's argument or point, distorts it or exaggerates it in some kind of extreme way, and then attacks the extreme distortion, as if that is really the claim the first person is making.

I'd honestly just ignore the mentally handicapped individual.

Is there any concern that Iowa will be hurt by not having spring ball and summer workouts? I know I personally feel this will hurt Iowa State especially after getting a new strength and conditioning coach. But regardless, both programs are developmental so curious as to hawks thoughts

Definitely. But the real thing to watch is the level of advantage some programs might get over others. It's up to states when various aspects of life re-open, some states like Georgia, Alabama, Texas, are more likely to allow schools to come back together, including off-season football training, sooner than others. So you might have programs that will have gotten 10 weeks of off-season training and others that only had 6.

So yes or no, is SOS a bogus reason for why isu wins fewer games than Iowa?

California state schools won't be going back to school in the fall. What does that do to those programs? This is becoming the nightmare that doesn't stop.
