Wait do Iowa fans really get banned for posting in threads about Iowa? I am sure you see how that might pose some insecurity issues for isu fans don’t you? Or is your point that clone fans only like to “poke the bear” as long as the bear doesn’t talk back?

I am sure clone fans could post on any public forum they choose. I don’t see any clone fans choosing to do that because what exactly do you have to talk about?
Did you see the article from the draft expert where in discussing Purdy he described isu as having a “less than stellar line” and “limited weaponry”?

Really, isu fans are so insecure that they want to “poke the bear” only as long as the bear doesn’t talk back. I guess banning someone in that vein would provide some satisfaction in some way. Take your victories where you can get them am I right?
Why are you so upset Purdy and ISU are getting some recognition? Are you that insecure about yourself and your Hawkeyes that you have to try and convince yourself Purdy isn’t a top level talent?

The line was less than stellar. Anyone with a football brain knows that, not exactly earth shattering news.
If ISU’s limited weaponry has 4 guys put up 650+ yards again, sign me up every year.

Why would I be upset about an article that says Purdy “toils away in obscurity at isu” has a “less than stellar line in front of him” and plays with “limited weaponry”? I really think CMC should use this article as the centerpiece for all of isu’s recruiting efforts.
I think Purdy is a great kid and a really good QB. Time will tell if he can single handily overcome what others have noted about isu’s current football team.

The context is author is talking about what Purdy has to work with this year. isu loses starters from a less than stellar line and you think that an objective observer would automatically jump to the conclusion that isu will be better there this year? Same thing with isu’s WR’s. Why would any football expert automatically assume isu will be better at WR with what you lost and what is coming back?
Sure if people didn't know anything about our depth from last year. Iowa fans have shown they don't have the eye for receivers.
