Yeah for moral victories! "we went 1-6 against decent teams" "can we get that on a banner?"So we agree ISU played a tougher schedule, good.

When did we ever play tcu consistently to get curb stomped? And Texas won’t ever curb stomp us again as long as CMC is the coach lol. Now you answerWhat are you going to say when Texas and TCU go back to the days of curb stomping you?
It is a concern. Anyone who tells you it's not because of how well we're recruiting out of state is wrong. Sure Iowa may not produce a ton of P5 kids but traditionally the easiest recruits to get are the ones within your own borders so it's important in years like this where there's something crazy like 17 kids in the state with a P5 offer that we get those kids. Just think how much better the program would be if we could consistently land kids like Colby, Logan Jones, Hockenson, etc.

Congratulations. Thanks for crapping the bed the rest of the season to drag down Iowa’s SOS.So we agree ISU played a tougher schedule, good.
You know that’s a reach. Justin Fields and Tanner Morgan are both better then Purdy and Shea Patterson is basically the same QB. Plus he would be going up against great defenses week in and week out. Purdy would maybe be honorable mention but nothing more then that.Nice try Troll. Purdy probably would've been 1st team all conference playing against that pathetic conference schedule and you know it.

Yeah, playing the awful defending West champions with the worst offense the P5 has seen in decades had nothing to do with it.Congratulations. Thanks for crapping the bed the rest of the season to drag down Iowa’s SOS.

Man just think if ISU had offered this kid at DE. They were a finalist and they only offered at TE but he wanted to play defense. I think he would still be undecided if not an ISU commit had we we offered at both
Are we sure we didn’t offer the kid an opportunity to play DE? I mean if he’s good enough to be a DE at Iowa and Penn State we could make room for him here.https://www.hawkcentral.com/story/s...r-5-must-have-two-months-hawkeyes/3035664001/

Yes, no where close to as awful as your defending champs. No where. You ever heard of the 2009 Nebraska Cornhuskers offense
100% positive we didn’t. Read the article. Says we offered only at TEAre we sure we didn’t offer the kid an opportunity to play DE? I mean if he’s good enough to be a DE at Iowa and Penn State we could make room for him here.
Never did I act like that was a win even in the slightest. I feel bad for the kid really. He obviously really wanted to go to Iowa State seeing how we were still in the running even though he wanted to play defense but we weren’t offering that that to him. He made the best choice for him which was to go to his second choice school which offered him to play the side of the ball he wanted. No big deal. In reality, silly Campbell didn’t offer him at defense as wellImaginary wins can be fun too. Good for you.
