Iowa was 3-3 against top 30 and ISU was 1-6. You tell me which is better.
So we agree ISU played a tougher schedule, good.

At this current moment, I don't think any of them see significant time enough to warrant getting their redshirt burnt. Guys who I think will for sure get used for the 4 games include: Howard Brown, Noah Biglow, Aiden Ralph, and MAYBE Dion SilasSame questions to you on ISU.

What are you going to say when the big 10 west falls back to being garbage like it has since 2011?Big10 West 3 top 15 teams.
Big12 Two top 15 teams.
I thought that too but then thought we might use darien porter also. Hard to tellI actually think Silas might be the most likely to burn his shirt as a KR/PR
What are you going to say when Texas and TCU go back to the days of curb stomping you? What are you going to say when the big 10 west falls back to being garbage like it has since 2011?
Seems like that’ll be awhile. What are you going to say when Texas and TCU go back to the days of curb stomping you?
Just wanted to make sure you saw we did in fact beat out Alabama for Purdy
Actually he’d only be a Redshirt Sophomore at Bama this year had he gone there, so not really. He would have only been sniffing Tua's rear there.
What does career length have to do with what direction the NFL offenses look to be heading?

(I'm sure I missed a couple, but I was only including recruits that sound like they have a decent chance to end up at ISU or Iowa)
I get Iowa being favored on average with linemen given their track record with those positions, but ISU isn't even competitive this year? And what about the WRs!? Winning some (not all, but some) recruiting battles against Iowa is pretty important given how often they happen. Just off the top, Breece Hall and Trevor Downing were recent recruiting wins against Iowa and are already two of the best players on offense. Bollers and Noel would go a long way towards making things better this year, and the in-state class is deep so there's still solid local talent coming ISU's way.
Still though... how is this not cause for concern?
WGAF, he's talking about college.Who was the last good Bama QB that made it in the NFL?????? Namath and Stabler back in the 60s/70s?
You're right, hence why Russell Wilson flamed out immediately.KC wins one Super Bowl and suddenly everything is a changin out there.
They explained to him the situation exactly as I described it. They wouldn’t actively recruit him but would accept his commitment.
WGAF, he's talking about college.
It is a concern. Anyone who tells you it's not because of how well we're recruiting out of state is wrong. Sure Iowa may not produce a ton of P5 kids but traditionally the easiest recruits to get are the ones within your own borders so it's important in years like this where there's something crazy like 17 kids in the state with a P5 offer that we get those kids. Just think how much better the program would be if we could consistently land kids like Colby, Logan Jones, Hockenson, etc.2021 Recruits with ISU and Iowa offers

Iowa has taken down Ohio State, LSU, Michigan and Penn State for recruits. Best move would be for isu to stay in the shallow end of the pool and battle it out with Southern Alabama. We don't compare ourselves to little bro. We're trying to beat out some big dogs for recruits not a middle of the pack Big Ten West team
