Iowa Football Recruiting

Why?

Kids are going to specialized speed and agility training younger and younger. My son has been doing such since 12. There are kids 8-10 years old. Your post doesn't really jive with reality. The 40 is a HUGE measurable. It is nearly impossible to believe he has not been working on it.
What does your son run?

At a combine his sophomore year...
He doesn't run track, 40s are all about getting a good start and striding out. I don't expect a sophomore who doesn't run track to have a good 40.

He also had a 4.6 shuttle and a 27 inch vertical. He obviously has good potential because he picked up quite a few good offers, but those testing numbers are really bad.

I agree. I'm not defending the numbers.

Watch the tape.

Yeah but he's young. One of the amazing things about Iowa's ability to develop kids is how many of them dramatically improve their numbers from when they enter the program to the combine. There was a listing for several of them and the level of improvement is pretty crazy. So it can be done.

That was such a bad call, but I still think our chances are 50/50 if it comes down to us having to make a kick from 30-35+ yards out.

The bad call was when the Iowa TE was both held and interfered with on the 3rd down play before the game winning FG. If that is made Iowa gets a first down and at a minimum runs off another 3-4 mins of clock.

The one doing to UNI was Sargent

Why didn't Iowa take a good one instead of UNI bound Sargent is the rephrased version

Maybe they wanted someone else that had no interest in Iowa. How am I supposed to know? They needed a juco back. They got Sargent. Your comparison between Sargent, HALL, and Brock is invalid as they are in different years. That is my entire point.

So they screwed up having to take Sargent instead of someone good. That's all you had to say

Speaking of bitter.

Well geez he's been an idiot. If you have a question just ask it instead of trying to bog a thread down. I bump questions all the time, especially in ISR where you guys are so active over here and there are a ton of posts

Yeah I mean just look at AJ Epenesa's combine numbers.....oh wait

That is your answer? Why not answer the question?

I've given up getting a non troll answer to anything from him. If you try to get in the way of his troll he will do the same to ISU fans as he does to Iowa fans. Heck he called @Crookedhatkid a liar because it was affecting his troll.
