Iowa Football Recruiting

So you're saying Iowa still wanted Brock after Goodson committed. Good to know

Didn't say that at all. I know Iowa didn't want Brock after they got Goodson, even if some poster claimed otherwise. I also highly doubt the ISU coaches really wanted Twedt any longer either. It's called being honest, I'm not the one trying to troll this whole thing to death. I really don't get why it is so life and death to you that Brock didn't get his offer pulled. I don't care that ISU pulled Twedt's offer.

This coming year will be a big one in terms of the draft and judging Campbell’s ability to put players in the NFL. His first recruiting class will be redshirt seniors. He’s already put a few players he recruited in the league

How many have been drafted and not signed as an UFA while at ISU?

I agree that this coming year should hopefully be a turning point. Allen and Kolar should have a good shot if they increase production.

As of today, I would put ISU at the top of Maro's list. This could change rather quickly, but ISU is going to push harder than Neb, Oregon and UCLA.

Oregon is in for a few highly rated 4 star recruits, so Maro is a fall back option for them at this point.

Neb has three committed, so they will take one or two more. They have a few guys on the radar. I'm a little worried that they will push themselves into the mix.

UCLA worries me. However, I like our staff to win the recruiting battle between the two schools.

How good is Brock if Iowa's RB room was full but they were still going to find a way to take him? Kids a freak

Agree. UCLA has been a mess and keeps trying to get a "name" to turn that program around. To date they haven't been able to do it.

Was Maro hearing from all these programs before and they just now offered him? Or do you think Nebraska, Oregon, and UCLA started the recruiting process with him by offereing him out of the blue basically one of the first times they talk to him?
