Iowa Football Recruiting

He would have been a solid developmental prospect but he's a long ways behind Stephens, Davidkov and Colby.

Yeah, bullet dodged for sure. I think I posted just a couple days ago that getting Davidkov would be icing on the cake, this is crazy good recruiting being done by the staff right now.

Reminds me of the Mack recruitment last year.

He's probably kicking himself for not committing early.

Between Colby, Stephens, and Davidkov, that’s offers from LSU (x2), Michigan (x3), Ohio State (x2), Oregon, Penn State, Wisconsin, Texas A&M, etc. This is looking like KF’s best class since 2005. Hell, if they can pull in another surprise or two, it could end up being the best of the entire Ferentz era.

I'll believe Davidkov when I see it.

If it happens, holy shite.

Wait.. I was told that an Iowa offer was committable until your position was filled, but I bet you random guys know more than who I heard that from.

Not sure where you're getting that from.

Just last year Mack delayed committing and tried to do so right before Vines committed and he wasn't allowed to.

Yeah. I mentioned that last year on here. Iowa got him to decommit from Northern Illinois only to pull his offer afterwards. It seems almost as if they recruit just like every other team does.

He had every opportunity to commit after he decommited. He took his time and looked at other options besides Iowa. His choice.

"If Mack would've committed sooner then the Hawkeyes would have him in the 2020 class. Iowa is very deep at wideout for the next few years, so it was only looking to take two wide receivers in the 2020 cycle."

They were recruiting Vines earlier and knew they would be getting him.

Every offer is commitable when offered. This isn't like Nebraska throwing out 400 offers for guys they've never seen. Some players get prioritized over time and the coaches don't invest as much energy.

This could be said for Mbow and Daine Hanson now.

Totally agree. Supposedly he was calling other schools letting them know that he was coming to Iowa. When that happens those schools push really really hard to get them to delay the decision. So who knows if he will actually pull the trigger or not.

Where is that quote from?

Then what does it say about someone who obsesses about his rival on his teams site for the past 8 or 9 years?
What does it say about someone who obsesses about their rival and then post about how they "aren't obsessed" on said rival fan page?

Considering the only argument an ISU fan makes is SOS, yeah I go there first. I mean to every other fan base in America Wins is all that matters, but nope not here, not with you.
This is idiotic, like all of your posts, because you've clearly never heard anyone talk about the SEC

Says I'm having fun. I posted for a couple months, took a month away, will post for awhile again, then leave the site for awhile again. It takes a really true and disturbing obsession to post about your rival non stop for 8 or 9 years running with no breaks at all.
