Iowa Football Recruiting

Tougher schedule than Iowa 3 out of the 4 years he played

I'm not even sure who the best WR Iowa has had since McNutt. Easley probably?

Good question. I'm thinking ISM if he can have a strong senior season. But outside of that maybe Vandeberg. KF's weak point for sure. But his strong points make up for it.

For him to get there he is how the math works out(i am using wiki) as the source for his numbers to date. If he coaches three more years and qualified for a bowl game every year and every season had 12 regular plus 1 bowl game that would be 65 games. He would need to have three 10 win years in a row. If he went 5 years he would he would have to win better than 68% to get to .600. Would you want him around for five years?
Yes.

You could argue he's worse at recruiting the RB position. I mean let's face it Wadley is probably your best RB since Greene. That's really bad because Wadley was like HM All Conference at best

Sometimes Honorable Mention All-Conference is good enough.

Not going to argue with you there. Canzeri and Daniels were pretty solid though. But Iowa should have been getting better prospects like Wisconsin gets.

At his current rate, of course I would. I think he has a lot of life left in him. He seems more dedicated and as enthusiastic as ever. His recruiting has actually been on the upswing and I think the 21 class has the chance to be his second best class at Iowa.
Fair.

You think we take another OL this class? Maybe Alt?

I'd bet they will take 5 for sure. With Ezra Miller medically giving up football and Wirfs going tonight in the draft, they need 5. If they have 5 committed (Hoping Myslinski and Alt pull the trigger soon as well), I'd bet they would also take Davidkov as well if he wanted to commit after those 5.

That's a good point, I keep forgetting Banwart along with AJ. Seems like so many younger guys in the two deeps that I forget we do have a couple more Seniors now

Edit - senior moment.

Is it me or do all these Hawk trolls on here that keep bragging about all these great recruits, think they are all going to go in the first round of the NFL draft in 4-5 years? Good god they are dreamers!

Wonder how many of these trolls actually do go to an Iowa game or do they just blow their wad on here?
