I'm still confused by the hording of Toilet paper. That just confuses the crap out of me.

I made a run to the store last night and spend 130 bucks for my daughter and I. I think that should last about 5 days. Then I will probably make another run in 5 days or so.

It goes a little something like this:

"Ha, look at those idiots stocking up on toilet paper. What are they afraid of, running out? I mean, how bad can it really be? I suppose it would get pretty gross if you ran out. You'd sure hate to miss the boat on this and wind up without toilet paper. Oh God, imagine not having toilet paper. Oh....oh God...."

Fareway on Stange had everything yesterday morning.

Was Fareway open yesterday (Sunday)? I went mid-morning today and it was the busiest I have EVER seen it since it opened. I think they were bringing out everything/restocking as fast as they could. A few things were gone but not sure if they were out. Toilet paper was gone, but other than that I pretty much bought everything on my list. Milk was fully stocked, plenty of canned goods, still plenty of bread to pick from. Eggs were almost gone off the shelf but maybe there were more.

We have a Walmart trip coming today. Should be exciting.
Hit Fareway this morning. Was already packed at, like, 8:30AM. Got pretty much everything we wanted (still a TP shortage if anyone's looking for that) but some certain items or brands were more limited than others.

I was one of those thinking everyone stocking up on TP were out of their minds.

Boss informed me they're looking to have me go remote soon and now I'm slightly worried my 24 rolls won't be enough.

Ts and Ps welcome.

Time for a bidet!

Well, that's another good point. What would qualify as "essential service"? How would a total shutdown even be enforced? It's become pretty evident that a good chunk of the U.S. population has no interest in practicing social distancing unless/until they're forced to. Would a shutdown order without any means of enforcing it really accomplish anything?

You don't need everyone to comply - just the majority.

People are so you to seeing things on a label made outside of the US. They all think it is either made in China or Mexico.

FYI- Charmin TP is made in Green Bay. I know now why they are called the Packers.
