UNC has three National Titles under Roy Williams (who is a college basketball hall of famer). Iowa State doesn’t have an NCAA tournament win under Steve Prohm’s players after being handed an opportunity, to build off his predecessors success, on a golden platter. As of today:

Ignoring the difference in accomplishments of said coaches, UNC has the #3 class in the nation with 4 McD AA's coming in.As of today:

Fixed it. Forgot about 2005.They have won 3 under Roy.

I lost faith 3 years ago when it took a full half before Coach recognized Purdue couldn't guard Burton. Not even that fat 1st round bust Swanigan. Can anyone honestly tell me what the identity is of ISU basketball now? Oh, and want to feel bad about how far we have fallen? Watch these highlights:
God Burton was good that game. The dunk to make 62-65 was one of my favorite live dunks I've ever witnessed.
edit
People seem to forget he got MUCH better under Prohm.
Deonte was a mid season transfer under Fred. Jackson was recruited under Fred (Otz was main recruiter) and was still sold by the program because Otz stuck around and committed to Steve. We're getting off subject here, but this is a really unfair take.
Deonte Burton, Solomon Young, and Donovan Jackson, three important players on the '16-17 team that did, in fact, win a game in the NCAA tournament, never played a minute of college basketball under Fred Hoiberg.
And honestly, it's this kind of crap that makes me defend Prohm, even in a season like this one where the grounds for defense are pretty flimsy.
I get that you hate and despise the man (and please do not insult our intelligence by claiming otherwise, even if he brought you lunch one time. You are on record, on this very board, of wanting him to be fired after last season in which we won 23 games, won the Big 12 tournament, and made it back to the NCAA tournament), but let's not pretend like every single season under him has been a bad one.
I get that you hate and despise the man
Well, that would go against the agenda and the narrative for those who hate him and have wanted him fired since the beginning of his tenure.
What a talented player. The burton video made me sad.

I’m not sure why you’re putting words in my mouth. You’re convinced I “hate” him because I don’t think he’s right for the job, which is far from the case. I have absolutely no ill will against the guy. Give me a break....
