Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

I'll take a guy like Zavier Simpson any day. 9pts, 6.6 asts and 5 rebs per game last year. He's scoring about 12 ppg this year. Impossible to keep out of the lane and plays great defense.

Again, 10-12 ppg is not a “ton of potential”, which was the main point.

He’ll be a solid player, but I’m not seeing this tremendous upside.

Toussaint will never be the focal point of the offense. If he can get to 10-12 PPG I will be thrilled.

6'0" 190 lbs - 37% FG, 1.6 ppg, 1.0 asts, .5 to's
6'0" 185 lbs - 37% FG, 6.7 ppg, 2.7 asts, 1.9 to's

Obviously one is relied on to play a lot more as a Freshman but they are very similar. JT is not a shoot first guy but he will take it to the hoop if the opportunity presents itself.

Lol Toussaint shoots the ball 3rd most on the team barely behind Wieskamp. He definitely hunts his shots out there
