Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

It is the first week of Feb. I know moving goalposts if your thing, and no matter what happens you will define this year as a fade.

I don't think there's an exact time when the fade happens. Similar to you never know when Garza will disappear in games you just know it will be in the last 10 min. Sometimes it's the 8 min mark, sometimes he waits until the 6 min mark. Hell last year Iowa didn't fade until the last week of February

Is it like Prohm's fades the last two years? I mean in the last 6 reg. season games played in '18 and '19 Prohm is 1-11 in those games.

Or is it like Bolton disappearing in close games vs Texas, but being good like in the 1st half vs Baylor or vs WVU in a game that isn't contested?

The Steve slide started in December this year. Just a month after CMC had his fade with the football team.

The “bear” has had a tough go of it for a few years now.

Yeah not sure anyone is going to defend Prohm right now lol

So why ask the question if UNI is the only good team in the state when they arent in the Top 25 and Iowa is?

Going into last night Iowa was 17th and UNI was 31st. I think both teams are trending opposite directions and UNI will jump them during the fade

So one is in the top 25 and one wasnt and you asked if the team outside of the top 25 was the only good team in the state? That doesnt make sense for a guy that is so loyal to the AP poll.

Hard to think Iowa is good after they just lost by 40 to a team that got beat at home by Texas and only scored 37 points in a conference game

Again, you are an AP guy and Iowa is currently ranked 17 by the AP poll.

Is #17 in the country not good?
