Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

They can get hot at home and Iowa's defense is still the weakness. Purdue has a good defense. They are a good home team this year.

I don't claim to know what Cal or Kentucky's staff thinks about CJ. It's quite possible that in hindsight they wish they would have recruited him more. They sure could use a 3 point threat on this years team.

Sure Kentucky could use some three point shooting, even as a blue blood they have challenges with recruiting cycles with guys bouncing to the association. Let's keep this real though. If you are recruiting two different kids in the same signing class what would you do?

6-5 Shooting Guard that weighs 195. Four Star with .9876 rating on 247. Nationally ranked 37 overall 6 nationally in the position.
Or
6-4 Shooting guard that weighs 165 lbs. Three star and a composite of .8832 that is 242 ranked nationally and 53 in his position.

Cal is not fretting over having signed Tyler Herro instead of CJ. Nobody, and I mean nobody in that program cares about CJ. That is not a slam on the kid. It just is reality.
This isn't even a question.

Get over yourself and enjoy the story and quit the lies to us and yourself you might enjoy his play more.

Well you're right, at least for the first half they only scored 61. Hawks down 61-36 at the half. I thought our game was ugly. Start of the Feb Fran Fade?????
