Who's the attractive woman?
How about attractive woman who you haven't gotten any action from lately, does that make it easier. While we are having a down year, overall we have been a better program for a long period of time.

@CyTwins , can you give us your definition of a fade for this years Iowa basketball team?
Please list W/L by game for the rest of the season for Iowa so we have something on the record.
Yep....I put my foot in it.Numbers and math, huh?
Was 86-68 fiction? How about 9-12. Or the FAMU outcome, all fiction?
The more CyTwins and his faithful obsess of how Iowa is doing sure has been working for ya.
Keep it going.
Those numbers are all true. You know what else is true, Iowa has had to remove their players from the handshake line 3 times in the last 1.5 years.
Some more numbers that are true in the last 9 years. Iowa has been to the NCAA Tournament 4 times and won 3 games. They are 4-9 in the Big 10 Tournament. They have a 46% winning percentage in Big 10 conference games.
In the last 9 years Iowa State has been to the NCAA Tournament 7 times in the last 9 years and is 7-7 in the NCAA Tournament. Iowa State is 13-5 in the Big 12 tournament in the last 9 years. Iowa State has won 53% of their games in the Big 12 conference regular season over the last 9 years.
In Kenpom Iowa State has the better ranked team over Iowa in 7 of the last 9 years.
Iowa is considerably better than Iowa State this year but make no mistake Iowa State will always be the premiere basketball program in this State. That’s exactly why Foster clowned you guys. When we win in Iowa City next year I suspect that Fran will find an excuse to avoid the handshake line.

We already have a spacing issue with this team. Adding a guard to this team the opposing defense wouldn't have to guard would make my eyes bleed

I honestly would be surprised if an 8 or 9 seed wasn't in the elite 8 this year.
I'm running for President on the "Handshake Lines are Dumb" platform and I expect all of you to support me.
Not sure there's a metric or time frame to define it. Easiest way if you are going to be insistent about it is probably just look at what seed you think they are now and then see where they end up

I actually don't think they are in CBB. A lot of times you hear about good things that come from them especially when the head coach can talk to the opposing players
Crazy how quick Prohm destroyed what Fred built.
9 years is strange metric....
I think you will find that Foster may have clowned Iowa State by committing there. Time will tell.

This whole handshake line thing is just dumb. Some people talk about is like it's some sacred sign of sportsmanship. One of the guys on here even said it was to promote "friendship" between teams. What a load of crap. It's a formality that really doesn't make a difference one way or the other. If the players and coaches choose to do it fine, if not, no big deal. Fran was right yesterday. As soon as there is any sign of hostility, get to the locker room. No sense in taking a chance things get ugly from either direction. He would have been crucified if anything had happened if he hadn't gotten his players off of the floor.I'm running for President on the "Handshake Lines are Dumb" platform and I expect all of you to support me.
And all of those same things can be said after the game once people have had a chance to calm down. Underwood heaped praise on Iowa's players once he'd calmed down. I imagine Fran did the same. There's just no reason to interact in the heat of the moment like that.
You think coaches will go to the opposing teams locker room and talk to them?
Its like arguing with a woman scorned, best not to keep talking with him when he gets like this.So I cite multiple advanced stats showing Connor is playing better, and you say "he's not being guarded, lol". Connor is better in literally every metric.
Like everything else, you throw out opinions you can't come close to substantiating and then run from any actual facts.
You're Iowa obsession has me out here stumping for Connor freakin' McCaffery. I'm not proud.
