What's frustrating for Nixon is that any shot he takes 2 steps inside the line, I swear he makes those at a 90% clip. Just take more of those.

Actually is was consistently a 4-8 point game until ISU got a basket to cut it to that 4-5 area in the second half and then Baylor just exploded.
Just by looking at the final score and box score, I don't think ISU did too bad last night considering the talent and coaching difference between the teams.
ISU was in the game for about 30 game minutes, it all fell apart down the stretch. And it's not like Baylor really changed anything themselves that I could see, ISU just stopped executing at an acceptable level. Bunch of turnovers and missed shots, poof, game is out of hand.
As always, Baylor is a strong rebounding team. We needed to combat that by making shots offensively and not giving up rebounds on their end. Down the stretch, they did neither. If you look at Baylor's stat line, nothing they did really jumps off the page -- except rebounding. They shot a little better from the floor and gathered a bunch of extra possessions to compliment that.
He's struggling lately. They played Young for him most of the game, and Young was solid. I have no idea why Jacobson is getting the minutes he's getting. At least they finally took Nixon out of the starting lineup
Didn't score in the first half. Much better in the 2nd half. Typical from him; made some good plays, other plays he was out of control and took bad shots.

Ouch! that is horrible. Looks like Prohm sat his ass on the bench as well. 29 minutes and was never in foul trouble? I guess the only way to keep him from hogging the ball and taking all the shots is to put him on the bench.
