21, 9 and 5 for Bolton. That kid is special
Sounds like a good bounce back from his 7 pts on 9 shots and 4 turnover night vs Tech.

Yeah he was really good. Even good players have bad games but he was all over the place last night
Tough to have a good opinion on Bolton when the only games we get to see are his bad ones. I mean he was pretty bad vs Iowa, and Tech (which was on regular ESPN).
Seems like a wash to me.
You've only watched two games?
I mean I said that and got mocked for it BEFORE Solomon just put up 27 and 9
That's fine.....I mean I said that and got mocked for it BEFORE Solomon just put up 27 and 9
When else have they been on lately outside of ESPN+? I watched the Michigan game in that tournament, the Iowa game, part of the Tech game. I've seen bits and pieces of other games as well, but with ESNP+ now, non ISU fans just aren't going to see them play. Bolton has never looked good any time I've watched ISU play.
That's fine.....
Solomon averages 1 pt more. Ryan averages 1 reb more, more assists and a higher shooting percentage.
Both good role players IMO.
So you're judging Bolton on less than 3 games and ignoring his season full of stats. Lol OK
Ok, I'm looking at his stats. I see a decent offensive player, a poor defensive player, and a player who has a poor A/TO ratio for a guard.
So ok, it looks like he can score some. Lets face it though, he would be coming off the bench on a Hoiberg team. Prohm just doesn't have a good roster now, so yeah he gets to put up lots of shots.
I think Kriener, Young and Jacobson are all a wash IMO. Youngs probably the best of the bunch just because of defense if you had to pick. Kriener is universally known for his defense lol
Kriener has a better DRtg, averages more steals and rebounds per 40 minutes and has a better DBPM and higher number of defensive win shares than Young this season.
Imagine averaging 15 ppg and that being "a decent offensive player"
I say decent offensive player because he is rather inefficient. He scores points, because he takes a lot of shots. Averaging 15 PPG while having a meh PER is kind of an eye opener. I'm wondering who else in the country averages 15 PPG with a 17 PER and 1.7 WS. Maybe he is better than I think and what I have seen is just skewing everything for me. I'll say that is a possibility.
I'd like to hear what other Clone fans think of him.
His TS% is over 55%. How is that inefficient when his job is to be a scorer?
Like I said, it is decent. I'm not saying he is a bad scorer, I'm saying he is decent offensively. Haliburton is at 62%. CJ Fredrick is at 69%, and you rip on him. Jordan Bohannon has a career 57% and you rip him all the time. Heck Ryan Kriener has a career 60% TS%.
So are any of those players just decent offensively?
