PJ Fleck legit?

PJ got there in Jan 2017 and now has a 11 win season. Did it with not one senior on the OL. Under-classmen in three positions (RS Fr & 2 RS So) and 2 RS Jr. According to this board it cannot be done without seniors or your own recruits.

That's the way you regroup and beat a blue blood after stumbling at the end of the regular season. Not sure why Iowa State was so disinterested when they played Notre Dame.

Hell, we were disinterested in playing Kansas State. ?!?!?!
The only two teams I saw worse bowl effort/coaching in was Arizona State and Florida St.....and that was the same bowl. I did not see every bowl though.

Row the boat is stupid but can't argue with the results. They shoved it down AU's throat the last few minutes.

Biggest difference I saw was UofM was controlling the line of scrimmage against a team with a top 25 defense. Made everything else easy.

Auburn is a very good win, but in no way are they a blue blood.

May not be a blue blood like Alabama or Ohio State but they have won a National Championship in the last decade, which is something nobody in the Big 12 or Pac-12 can say. They also played for another title in 2014 and lost to Winston and that loaded Florida State team in the last seconds of the game.

Anyone know if he interviewed with ISU? He is a stud HC for sure.

Agree. Fleck obviously knows what he's doing. First impression seems like he's really full of himself, but he clearly is a big picture coach and a big time salesman at the microphone and in front of the cameras. Looks like he's doing a great job. Definitely a Macro manager much like the LSU coach. Sell the program, the University, the State, the fan base and let the assistant coaches get the work done. He's a winner.

So they're not a blue blood like I said.
