All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

That is true on Nixon. He’d likely be in there on the interior, forgot about him.

Iowa does potentially lose quite a bit on the DL it seems.
Probably my biggest worry going into the off-season. Going to need to develop pressure with the front four or else they are in for a long season next year defensively. Will be interesting to see who steps up.

How about a little 2020 preview. A lot of good young players for ISU, and obviously this assumes Wirfs and Epenesa leaving early.

QB - Purdy
RB- Hall
TE- Kolar
WR - Milton
WR - ISM
WR - Smith
OL- Jackson
OL- Downing
OL - Linderbaum
OL - Newell
OL - Iowa ?

DL- Bailey
DL - Uwazurike
DL - Gholston
DL- Petersen
LB- Rose
LB- Vance
LB- Colbert
CB- Hankins
CB- Johnson
S- Stone
S- Eisworth

No Keith Duncan? That's just a given.

Go bait someone else's hook guy. Not in the mood for your intellectually dishonest drivel today.

I'm not baiting you. I discuss where Purdy was recruited by all the time not sure that's "bagging" on him and I also said that Oregon State kid could be great so not sure where you're going with this

Lots of unknowns for your offense next year. That Oregon State kid could come out and be worse than Stanley (if that's possible) or he could come out looking like the next Lawrence/Purdy

Stanley had that toughness. He turned his ankle really bad against Nebraska and then leads Iowa on a game winning drive. Purdy has the same injury and had to leave the game against ND.

I could lead Ankeny Centennial on a game winning drive vs Nebraska and I'm not that tough

Trying to compare the degree of injuries is dumb.
Also the complete difference in games as well. Our game was cooked, Purdy was getting teed off on by ND's defense, and there was no reason for Purdy to suffer a worse injury.

B12 being exposed this bowl season puts those stats compiled against over-rated B12 teams into question
B12 has played 3 bowl games so far.
Did anyone on the planet pick OU?
Did many people pick ISU?
From what I saw, OSU vs aTm was a good game.

OU should be banned from the CFP for a few years
There was no other #4 to pick from this year. The pieces all fell in place to make this happen.
They played well against Georgia in the Rose and lost in double OT.
They lost bad Saturday but it's going to happen sometimes. Urban Meyer got housed by Clemson a few years ago.

Stone is probably leaving early as well.

Is there talk of Eisworth leaving? I know he has battled injuries at ISU so was not sure if he was considering going to the draft.

Oklahoma got completely destroyed. They were clearly the inferior team. But I think LSU also might be one of the best college football teams of all time, and OU is far from that.

If you're going to throw shade at OU and the Big 12, you might want to look back on the past two performances from the Big 10 in the playoffs.

Ohio State lost 31-0 to Clemson in 2016. Michigan State lost 38-0 to Alabama.

Stop being reasonable :)
