Iowa's finished with more wins than Texas 7 out of the last 10 seasons.
Texas hasn't been "Texas" since Mack Brown left. Mack Brown's worst season as the head coach was 9 wins.
I have no idea how this got away from me, but I meant to Mack's first 12 years of his career at Texas. But nonetheless, things haven't been at Texas since he was their HC. Mack Brown gets fired at Texas for having multiple seasons like Iowa just had.
Nobody sucks more with developing talent than USC and Texas over the last few years. Well FSU and UCLA are right there too.

If you can't recruit you better be able to develop
The point was, compare Texas and Iowa's recruiting classes over the past 10 years and then their W/L records. KF finds under recruited gems, develops them and wins at a higher clip than Texas which has landed 15 5-star and 132 4-star recruits in that time.
The formula makes sense but there really is no point to even show the great teams because it's nearly impossible for them to come out positive.
Fine is ok. Lets see if CMC can ramp it up and get to 10+ wins. Iowa fans put up with Ferentz "fine" years because he also has won 10+ games 5 times and is going for a 6th time on Friday.
Put him in the Big Ten West and he wins 10 games last year

LOL, if you think CMC gets to even 8 wins playing Iowa's schedule.
Iowa lost to Purdue and Northwestern and still won 9 games plus Iowa State had a much more difficult schedule. Lol if you think Montgomery Butler and Purdy lose to Northwestern and Purdue

Lol no you put up with Kirk's fine years because schools like Iowa State and Iowa are not going to have programs where they are getting 10+ wins on a consistent basis. It's just not going to happen.

Exactly, I totally agree. Yet without a great season every now and again see how long you are happy with 7 win seasons with CMC. Sure they feel good now, because he brought you out dumpster, but that won't last forever. If CMC goes 7-5 again next year, some of the fans will already start to get restless.
