Stanley

He is the ideal backup qb. Big, durable, can learn the playbook, and will accept his position as backup. He'll make a good living riding a bench and rarely seeing the field.
No shame in that. Good gig if you can get it.

Stanley seems like a good dude, but he is what he is: a guy that can make every throw but only completes 60% of his passes. He’s fine but I certainly wouldn’t want to watch him at Iowa State. He’s like a slightly better Arnaud.

Yeah. It’s strange. He doesn’t have a cannon, but his arm strength isn’t what will hold him back on draft day, it’ll be his height.
I think some of the height issues with QBs are slowly fading. The old adage is that height helps because you can see over the line. But that height also limits mobility to making running throws/plays. These are NFL charts from 2016 so they don’t even include the last MVP Mahomes (6-3) or the next MVP Lamar Jackson (6-2).

First class kid but just was a mediocre football player. If he was good he would be remembered a lot differently
The only thing that makes me hesitant about next year's game is that with Stanley gone, Petras (or whoever) might actually make their offense good.

I think several posters on this board are pathetic with the fat jokes. Carry on with your miserable lives.

You do realize its based on the "Flat Stanley" reference? Fat Stanley just works. Continue to be awesome though...
