Stanley

Stanley is a solid to a little above college quarterback, what he is not is a difference maker. There is not a defensive coordinator in the country that is losing sleep over game planning to shut down Stanley, at all costs. He seems like a good kid, and has had very nice career, but those Iowa fans earlier in the year that were saying "Stanley is a high draft choice" are crazy,

His biggest feature is he rarely turns the ball over, few INT's, but most of his passes that I have seen this year are short passes that allow the receiver to run and pick up the yards. He may carry a clip board for a few years at the next level, but if an NFL team ever has to play him, they will be in trouble.

His arm strength is probably good enough that someone will give him a shot at the next level. I do agree that he'd probably be just a clip board carrier for a while but hey nothing wrong with that.

Now I'm super scared because I agree with this completely.

My how your tune has changed. When you were yeahbutte and Walmart you were full of awful takes about Stanley. Glad you finally got there.

First class kid but just was a mediocre football player. If he was good he would be remembered a lot differently
The Wisconsin losses hurt his legacy for sure. If he'd have lead the Hawks to a couple wins over them he'd be thought of much differently years from now.

I mean he's been pretty bad against non Super Bowl good teams in his career

And here is why people here hate me. Stanley strength, arm strength, is what I think is Purdys weakness. Purdy could have 2nd day draft potential due to his accuracy, legs, and intangibles but I think his arm strength keeps him from being a 1st round prospect.

Purdy just threw a ball 50 yards in the air across his body while on the move last week. What is wrong with his arm strength?

You are such a boner. Nice comments about the kid. Then you start comparing to a sophomore that is light years ahead of him. It is people like you that makes most fan bases you play loathe you folks. Damn.

Now I'm terrified. Although I will say while Purdy doesn't have a weak arm, he certainly isn't Rich Gannon or Dan Marino's offspring.

I’ve got a huge Hawk friend that bet me before the year that Stanley would get drafted in the first 3.5 rounds and Epenesa would go top 5. Feel free good about both. Epenesa will be close.

4 more years, 4 more years, wait college quarterbacks have term limits. Dang it. Stanley hate from hawk fans make my Saturdays fun

He is the ideal backup qb. Big, durable, can learn the playbook, and will accept his position as backup. He'll make a good living riding a bench and rarely seeing the field.
