So Iowa's faced offenses that are even worse than the "garbage" defenses we've faced?
I would say that is accurate so far.
I will also say SOS ranking can be very misleading. Right now OSU has a SOS of 16 and has only played one top 10 team. LSU has a SOS of 27 and has played 3 top ten teams. But the other foes LSU has played are really really bad which drags down their SOS. If those other teams were in the 50s instead of the 80s and 100s, then their SOS would be very much improved while also posing no threat of losing the game.
I would say LSU has played three games they had the potential of losing and OSU has played one game. So regardless of SOS ranking, I feel LSU has played a way harder schedule than OSU has so far.
So what word should we be using to describe the offenses Iowa faces that's worse than "garbage"? Like if I wanted to say Epenesa still can't put up numbers vs__________ offenses what word should we use?
Some have been non-existent like NW's was. Glad Iowa took care of business, but NW has zero offense this year.
You didn't answer my question. What word should we use that's worse than garbage to describe what Epenesa and Phil Parker are seeing this year?
NW and Rutgers have been putrid. But Iowa's defense is pretty good this year. Don't understand the hate for Parker at all. He is a great DC.
How would you rate ISU's defense so far? Seems their tackling hasn't been very good, but I've only seen some highlights.
When you play offenses as potent as the ones in the Big12, they will always be able to score some.

Still will never get the defense boners. Does anyone on here talk about B12 offenses more than these trolls talk about B1G defenses?
I've watched you guys struggle to score vs Iowa, Wash St, Akron, UNI, Drake, but then drop 30+, 40+, 50+ on Big 12 teams. Why can you light up the scoreboards against the Big 12 but you can't vs supposedly inferior defenses?
So Brock Purdy is putting up elite numbers vs garbage defenses and Epenesa is a non factor vs putrid offenses?
26 pts vs. Wash St, Akron, and Drake is struggling to score? You do know that Iowa averages 24 pts per game, right?
Dude. Don't you know they're putting 10 men on Epenesa? If the QB didn't have to hold the ball, he would be right there helping block against The Incredible Bust.
