Question for Iowa fans

It's absolutely hilarious seeing some of the takes about Brock from some Iowa fans. At the beginning of the season, they didn't want to say he was good yet because it was his first season.. fair. Now, we're 5 games into his sophomore year and he's putting up better numbers than he did last year, yet some of them still don't want to admit he's that good. He's the leading passer in the Big 12, which has some of the best QB's in the nation and he's 2nd in the Big 12 in total offense behind... Jalen Hurts.
I think halfway through basketball season I'm going to start a thread titled "I'm not sold on Joe Wieskamp yet"
Joe Weiscamp should have a better year this year because he'll be the go-to-guy. With J-Bo being out, he's going to be the motor that keeps the offense going. However, he will be getting guarded by the opposing team's best defender this year, so he'll be getting put to the test every single night.
I know this isn't an Iowa Basketball thread but wow.. look at that roster right now outside of Joe and try to see where the other points come from. Garza will pry average 12 er so and Weiscamp around 16.. but then what?
The best spin is going to be Iowa fans who won't admit Purdy is great now but when he leaves say we won't be able to replace him
The 4-star in state QB who's shattering Iowa High School records seems like a good fit for our program.. We should go after him.
I look at the Iowa Basketball program/roster how I imagine most Hawkeye fans used to look at Iowa State's football program.....as a complete joke. I literally laugh at how God awful they are and just void of any talent that another team would want. And when we lose to them, it is just an embarrassment to our program. The big difference however between Iowa's basketball program and how ISU's football used to be, was that our fans still showed up even though we sucked.
Yeah I agree.. I'm very interested to see how they do this year because I think they go under or right at .500
The talent gap is just so big. Think about the hype they would have over a player like Zion Griffin and we hardly even talk about him
That was my point. Not historically. But the modern ere, yea.....it's a spot on comparison. Iowa struggles to get low rated 3 stars guys year in and year out. No one wants to go to an empty arena to play basketball for a boring style of play.

Iowa hasn't won in Hilton since 2002-2003 and it looks like that streak will continue on.
