Not sure how many more years Lee has in him to do Gameday, but really glad we got him to ISU and put Cy’s head gear on before he calls it quits.

As an analyst, I think Corso is kind of a doosher. (Sorry, Rulzzz.) But as entertainment, yeah, he's pretty good.
I think I speak for most of the people who “want Corso gone” when I say that it has nothing to do with his analysis or opinions and more about how it is shameful for ESPN to parade around an old man with dementia (or at the very least aphasia) just so that he can throw on a mascot head like he’s always done. Herbie generally has to guide him through his two segments now and even then he still barely makes it. It was great while it lasted but it’s past time to move on.Agree. I heard people while standing in the crowd during gameday, and other places that people are tired of Corso and want him gone. Corso IS the reason I watch gameday and that final picks segment is always must see TV.
I don't think he has dementia. He had a stroke, and that's why I think he has problems speaking, but I don't think there's a mental thing there. Plus, he and his family know him better than we do. If he wants to keep doing it, he should.I think I speak for most of the people who “want Corso gone” when I say that it has nothing to do with his analysis or opinions and more about how it is shameful for ESPN to parade around an old man with dementia (or at the very least aphasia) just so that he can throw on a mascot head like he’s always done. Corso has earned the right to quit when he wants to. Corso does struggle, I don’t think as much as some think, but he is still able to make it through. When he wants to be done then he should be done. Until then it is special to see him out there.I think I speak for most of the people who “want Corso gone” when I say that it has nothing to do with his analysis or opinions and more about how it is shameful for ESPN to parade around an old man with dementia (or at the very least aphasia) just so that he can throw on a mascot head like he’s always done. I think Lee loves his job. I agree it is shameless because he's obviously had better years but if he wants it so be it.I think I speak for most of the people who “want Corso gone” when I say that it has nothing to do with his analysis or opinions and more about how it is shameful for ESPN to parade around an old man with dementia (or at the very least aphasia) just so that he can throw on a mascot head like he’s always done. I think it’s more a hearing thing than anything. I’ve felt he is similar to my Grandpa who can’t hear much anymore. They can’t hear what’s going on and it can give the appearance that they aren’t fully there when really they just can’t hear stuff. My grandpa will repeat stuff that we just said but it is because he can’t hear what we said.Listen to him in that video, he's all over the place. And the way Herbstreet is talking to him feels very much like talking to someone you know is losing their mental capacity. It's been happening for years and consistently getting worse. He's a legend but it's past time.
