All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

41 yards against Wisconsin in 2017?? The only thing Stanley can shred is potatoes for hashbrowns. I forgot the great defenses Iowa faces in the West. Best laugh of the day so far!!
Iowa and Wisconsin are alone in the West having a good D this year.

What top defenses has he shredded. Hopefully you don’t think OSU is a top defense. They got outed pretty well last season.

He had 148 yards passing, and fluke touchdown that should have been an interception, against Mississippi State.

That’s Tom Brady Drew Brees Pat Mahomes level good.

Mississippi St. speaks for itself. Best D in the country.

ISU also has a really good defense and Stanley was clutch... the 3rd down rushes to get the first down, the 3rd and 22 laser, throwing darts downfield, the TD rush, zero turnovers. Against Iowa's D, which is just as good and the best Purdy has faced, Purdy struggled at the crucial moments. He's played well against bad defenses (though he's still fumbling and throwing picks), he's just gotta take that next step and shine in the crucial moments against top defenses.

That would require Hok fans to watch teams outside the B1G which might make it look like players from the B1G aren't the first to do anything good...so unlikely.
Well they always have defense boners and with the way B1G games were going yesterday, I hope they changed the channel.

I think Wisky's defense is actually really good although I'd like to see what happens if they play a team that can throw.

They still let Michigan complete some passes yesterday which isn't a great look for their secondary.

Checking in on Nebraska and Illinois is midnight to 6.

I don't think anyone would suggest those two teams play good defense.

What I've been curious about is how Ohio State had a bad defense last year but still won the B1G title going away including blowing the doors off of Michigan....kinda makes you wonder if it matters so long that the team is winning.
