Here comes the asterisk. I was a few weeks off on my initial prediction.

I mean do any Hawk fans out there think that doesn't happen vs your secondary? Seems like the consensus is from Iowa fans that ISU would have had no problem getting into FG range
No asterisk from me. Like I said it's better to be lucky than good. Oh well
I honestly thought you guys would have had the advantage in the game if you would have gotten the ball back. Doesn't mean I would have guaranteed ISU victory or anything as a lot of different things can happen, but I wasn't feeling very confident we would get the stop either.
Stanley converted on 3rd and 22...just saying4th and 13 is such a high percentage play. Lol
Stanley converted on 3rd and 22...just saying
If saying "they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves" qualifies.....then every single ISU win since Hayden Fry has as asterisk.Give it time.
Purdy struggled at critical moments throughout the game, would've been interesting to see if he could come through.
He had another chancePurdy converts on 4th and 13 without a phantom holding call. What's your point?
He had another chance
Not to mention the lack of a huge holding call against Iowa on that specific play!!Purdy converts on 4th and 13 without a phantom holding call. What's your point?
Purdy should be able to do it according to the posts I've read on here. He should have done it "for sure". Also, there is no way Stanley would complete a 3rd and 22 pass because he's a bum that can't make plays....and he's fat. What are the odds of converting back to back 4th and 13s?
I would actually say the likelihood is about the same as a game winning drive with no timeouts. What are the odds of converting back to back 4th and 13s?

And you're the guy that minimizes a 60 minute game to 1 play. A team that has scored a whopping 30 points in 120 minutes of regulation play was going to magically turn into an offensive juggernaut. I sure hope you're not a Saints fan as well because you wouldn't have survived the no call against the Rams last year in the playoffs.Oh you're just dumb? Got it

Again iowa got away with a huge no call for holding on that play. Uwai was in the backfield with an iowa lineman bear hugging him from the side.Purdy should be able to do it according to the posts I've read on here. He should have done it "for sure". Or the other 10 possessions in the game where they failed to score didI'm not a Saints fan but like the phantom holding call that no call cost them the game
