You don’t think this is fair? @HOU_Blue agreed with it:Must have missed those "fair and open" posts.
Iowa wins atleast 8 regular season games. TBH I would have a tough time picking O/U 9.5 total for the year.
The blow coverages were because your secondary sucks. You guys are going to have teams that are going to exploit that better than we did.Iowa didn’t play a nearly flawless, clean game. Far from it. They had two blown coverages that led to Iowa State’s only points of the game. They kept running the ball out of heavy sets on 3rd and 1 when everyone in the world other than the Iowa coaching staff knew that wouldn’t work. They effed up the clock management at the end of the first half, forcing them to settle for a FG instead of trying for a TD. Stanley had a couple misses to open receivers on what would have been big plays. Iowa’s defenders missed several of Purdy’s throws that should have been intercepted. Etc.
Boy another one where I just made fun of Iowa:Must have missed those "fair and open" posts.
Not saying it's going to happen yet since it's so early but that's a real positive type of thing for Iowa's win column going forward. They got the W on a coin flip style game and could be the favorites in the West. TBH, should be favorites in about 6 of their last 9 games.
18-17I remember when Rhoads couldn't recruit quality depth too. It sucked
Off topic but you and I are good, did you see what happened to the FL doosh QB? Hate injuries but as soon as he got replaced FL looked better.18-17
Hawks depth is just fine.

Yea, kind felt sorry for Kentucky. They had that game...Off topic but you and I are good, did you see what happened to the FL doosh QB? Hate injuries but as soon as he got replaced FL looked better.
So do you disagree with this, because I really don’t.Like I said, I must have missed those posts which this one does fit.
The only thing about that is that Stanley threw what easily could have been 2 picks, it was just lucky the ISU defenders failed to make the play. But overall Stanley and Brock both played similarly well. Neither one was head and shoulders above the other last night.
FL is so damn over rated, I’d have a tough time giving them more than 9 wins no matter who their QB is.Yea, kind felt sorry for Kentucky. They had that game...
Never want a kid hurt but have to agree....he’s a douche.

I'm ok with that. Thinking your better than you are is a flaw people hate.Says the Pontiac Fiero of the football world
I've never really cared much for Randy P.... but boy did he nail this game in this article....

You'd do much better to mock his crazy BugEyes, if mocking personal attributes is required!Good lord, I’m mocking his hair cut.
Lol
As for Iowa All-American defensive end A.J. Epenesa — he had just one tackle. Iowa State didn’t do anything fancy against him – Good-Jones blocked him, sometimes with help from a tight end.
Really, Epenesa was a non-factor.

Not an every down guy. He did well playing 3rd down because he sells out for the pass and is fresh. Well know that being good at edge setting and pass rushing is something that even very few pros are equally good at.
