It's sort of like ISU-KSU though. There's been great games in these two rivalries throughout the years and one team has come out on top a lot more than the other. Still rivals, however saying they're more of a rival than Iowa State is ridiculous.

Yea I mainly just said that cause according to Iowa fans, it can’t be a rivalry if the series is lopsided the last 10 years.
Interestingly enough Iowa’s last 2 wins against Wisconsin have been in Madison. But yeah they have a tall task to win at Camp Randall this year.

Don't confuse the fact that EVERY single school that comes in contact with your fan base finds them trashy, delusional, and obnoxious with actually considering you their rival.

to bad the Iowa football program doesn't feel that way. Hayden Fry laid down the foundation and philosophy and that is the top priority for Iowa football is to dominate the state first and foremost. This whole the ISU game isn't as important as the big 10 is an Iowa fan myth, the fact is, it is the opposite, and there is nothing wrong with that. It was an important enough game for Iowa that they played the ISU fight song in the football complex to whole off season a couple of years ago.

This is 1000% true. If we had discussions about Iowa with just Iowa State fans, these threads would be minuscule compared to what they are currently. The back and forth banter is what blows these things up.
