All 10 of those games were decided by one score. ISU leads the all time series too. Man Iowa State just can't have nice things can they? Gameday comes to Ames = Iowa fans claiming they're coming to watch the Hawkeyes. Iowa State has other rivals = Iowa fans lecturing Iowa State fans that they actually aren't rivals.
In fairness, Iowa fan's are not saying they're coming to watch Iowa. We know that, really. Iowa fans are saying they wouldn't be showing up without Iowa. They're coming because both teams were expected to be good/ranked and it's the state's biggest game. There is a reason they are showing up this week, and not one of the other games on the schedule.

Okay so 9 out of 10 games were decided by one score, my bad. Also, if you go on wikipedia, because I'm assuming that's where you found the score of the 2013 game, you would have seen that it calls the game between the two schools a "rivalry"
I've seen quite a few people, particularly on Twitter, saying that Gameday is there because of Iowa. But yes, this is a perfect opportunity for Gameday to visit Iowa State. Rivalry game, nice weather, historic team vs. an up and coming team, etc.
