Initial CyHawk Game Predictions

The Clones will need to run a lot of screen passes, and delays inside # 94. The offense will have many 3 tight end sets, but will throw to them, as they are the tallest receivers.

So,
jump ball, pass to the side, hope for pass interference, get #12 thrown out of the game.
That should work.

You’re stupid

He was a factor today against a better team.

Troll away dude. Only thing you’re probably good at.

You are talking to me, I don’t know. I will say you are the troll if you think Rutgers is better than any division one team and 75% of 1AA teams. They are just an awful team. I was at a kids game and didn’t see more than 10 minutes of the Iowa game. They have nothing for a QB or Oline, that is for sure.

Stone and Hankins both got dinged up yesterday. Stone was available for the media after the game so he should be ok but it sounds like Hankins tweaked his hammy.

We are getting thin at CB if he is out and Brents can't make it back this week.

Lack of depth showing in week 2? Good job recruiting Parker

If we score more than 20 we win. Not sure that happens.

I would completely agree with this.

The more I think about this game, the more I lean towards Iowa, especially now with GameDay coming. I think that can be a huge distraction for the hosting team.

But even more than that.... I don't think our OL can block Iowa's DL, and that's a big problem.

If CMC goes into the game and stubbornly tries to just run the ball and control the clock, like he did last year in IC, I expect similar results.... something like a 17-6 Iowa win.

If he understands, and is willing to admit it, that our OL is still a big weakness and devises a quick passing game with screens, quick slants, and quick outs to the flats and forces Iowa to cover sideline to sideline.... and allows Purdy to scramble and be himself.... and then occasionally throws over the top.... then ISU has a chance.

But right now, knowing only what we've seen this year so far this season, you'd be pretty dumb to be wagering a lot of money on ISU. Our offense has always been bad under CMC and Manning, and playing Iowa after a dismal first game may not be a recipe for first time success on that side of the ball.

If 3 of the top 4 CB's are out with injuries, 95% of programs in the country will start to get thin there.

And you really think Parker recruits all the d backs? LOL!!

Anyone can play that game. Our two best CBs graduated last year, so we're really young and inexperienced there, and one of our starting safeties is injured too.

Going with Iowa. Think their D will snag a TO or two from Purdy trying to do too much and that will end up being the difference.
