It's not the "luck of the draw." When you expand and then expand again, it'll water it down.
It would be just like if the B12 added Memphis, Cincy, etc.

You aren't saying it but there are people out there that go, what are we supposed to do, it was the schedule we were given? Well, how many B1G AD's voted no on invitations to Maryland or Rutgers? Zero. So, they get a payday, but the on field match ups suffer because of that.

Since Iowa fans use Sagarin instead of the AP poll here is what Sagarin says:

Oklahoma State > Michigan State

Texas Tech, Kansas State and West Virginia > Northwestern

UNI > Rutgers

Sure it comes down to draw but nothing you said above is wrong either.

Iowa is wrapping up annual matchups against PSU this season and will move to having RU as their protected crossover game for a few years. Based on luck, that could have been OSU and probably will be in future schedules.

Nothing to do with Iowa, ISU, or the validity of this poll, but I can’t believe they only dropped Missouri 3 spots for losing to Wyoming.

I don't think there are many people that were impressed with us.. Lol if we play like that offensively all year long we aren't going to reach the goals of the team.

Colbert was very good for a freshman last year. He missed 2 or 3 tackles against Miami that he should have made, but LOL at claiming he looked terrible.
