Didn't see that post. If we run a game plan that allows us to get over 470 yards of offense I'd be fairly happy. Doubt Iowa is going to just sit back and let us pick apart the defense though.

The way UNI was playing we were just gonna dink and dunk em down the field, which was effective, however for whatever reason we didn't score.
Did you see the defense Ohio State threw down against Florida Atlantic? I know, Florida Atlantic but they were all over them in every play. ISU has never had a defensive player as good as Chase Young.
Prove me wrong.
What week does Iowa play Ohio State this year?
You can't even name the players for Michigan or Wisconsin so whats the point. I think ISU has a very strong defense. Is it as good as MIchigan's or Wisconsin's, we don't know including you.
I've read around and heard listening to some podcasts that this could be Michigan's best defense in a long time.
470 yards against an FCS opponent in three overtimes. If Iowa State runs the same game plan against Iowa they aren’t getting anywhere close to 470 yards.
Don’t forget Penn State. Gross-Matos and Parsons are better than anybody Iowa State has. I don’t know much about the rest of their front 7 though.
I'm agreeing with you that the likelihood of us getting 470 yards of offense against Iowa is low. My point was we racked up a ton of yards against an FCS opponent, as we should.
Iowa is not going to sit in zone coverages the entire game and let us pick apart the defensen nor let us rush for 185. I don't think either defense in this game is going to give up a lot of yards or points.

Michigan is stacked at DL and in the secondary. The LBers are solid, but not as good as past years. Not surprising when you lose an all-timer like Devin Bush.
Iowa State is pretty stacked at the DL position and the LB's this year. Not saying we're better than Michigan's defense but our front 7 is pretty darn tough.
I think Twins said that we might have the best defense Iowa will play all year. Ohio State was brought up, however Iowa does not play them this year.
