Weather is now calling for basically no rain at all besides maybe a shower at like 4 am. Should be dry for the game.I don't see super high scores in either game with possibility for some rain.
I think about 27-10 for both IA and ISU.

Tough position to come in and play as a redshirt freshman. Especially vs. Big Ten defenses.
Sounds like a good story. Good for him! You guys need a few more of those on your offensive line where you ranked last in the conference in yards per carry and 7th in sacks given up last year.
First in the conference in sacks allowed. They've got some work to do on the rushing attack.Iowa was also the 9th ranked rushing attack in the Big 10 last year with NFL talent on the offensive line. What's the deal there?
We're picked to have the best defense in the Big 12 this upcoming year and have had our front 7 be listed as one of the best in all of college football. We'll see how it all plays out but just like the team as a whole, there are a lot of high expectations.I read through the staff picks for UNI and read more than 1 of them refer to the ISU defense as elite.
Is that really the feeling around here?
How big of a part do you the OL played in Purdy's regression last year?Crazy to think just how great Purdy was with that OL
Iowa does a great job protecting Nate that is for sure. Personally, I don't think it's the offensive line's fault for the weak running game, more on the running backs production so far. Should be better this year.First in the conference in sacks allowed. They've got some work to do on the rushing attack.

I know you're trolling, but the offensive line did make it tougher on Purdy. In the Texas game, they were letting everyone run freely to get to him, the Drake game was an outlier but they still played terrible and couldn't move anyone (could be for a lot of reasons), and then the WSU game they were incredibly undisciplined. How big of a part do you the OL played in Purdy's regression last year?

Two of the eight used the word elite. Do you really think that's the feeling around here?
Which is what I said...more than 1.
Just asking if that was the feelings among the fans around here. Feel free to add to the discussion anytime instead of obsessing over your "dumb" button.
Yes the defense is "Elite" .....by BIG 12 standards.Yeah, you were bringing it up for "discussion".
Have to think that Downing will be starting by mid-year, right?I know you're trolling, but the offensive line did make it tougher on Purdy. How was Stanley that bad with two top 20 draft picks to throw to and all that pass protection?
Bump for @CyTwins
So you do think the OL was the reason he regressed? Why do you think the other QB's under Campbell have regressed?I think Purdy was good vs Kansas State and wash State. Texas was on the OL and Drake was an outlier IMO
