Stanley played pretty dang well in that Mississippi State game and Brock played very well in the 2nd half of the WSU game, but his first half was shaky. If Stanley would've played in those conditions that we did against Drake, his stat line probably would've been the same. Iowa probably would've just ran the ball the entire game imo. The Kansas State game was a pretty good game for Purdy and one of his interceptions was ripped away from a WR. Stanley played Illinois that same week and did well too. I think Purdy was more consistent throughout the entirety of the year, but Stanley did play very well to end the year.
This year is the make or break year for Nate's legacy. There are a lot of people that want to believe he's really good. If he has a great year then that's how he will be remembered. If he struggles, people are going to get on him.
