Can you highlight the section that has Kirk saying Wirfs didn’t watch the game? TIA.https://www.hawkcentral.com/story/s...yhawk-game-hawkeye-offensive-line/1273663002/
I just love it. You were so sure that there was no link. So is it TW telling a lie to a reporter or Kirk misremembering? Before ya act big league maybe use this as a resource: www.google.com You can type in questions and prevent yourself from looking like a less-on
IOWA CITY, Ia. — Tristan Wirfs spent the season-opening Iowa football game the way many fans did — watching on TV with a neighbor while eating bratwurst.
Of course, Wirfs, a starting offensive tackle for the Hawkeyes, would much rather have been suited up inside Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 1. But he was serving a one-game suspension after a summertime OWI arrest.
So, instead he was hanging with Mr. Tucker. That’s his 83-year-old neighbor and new friend this year. Wirfs doesn’t even know his first name.
You’re a nut job.

Pretty reckless move by coach Kilmer if you ask me.
Huge get.https://www.hawkeyenation.com/featu...pus-monday-will-join-hawkeyes-later-this-week
“Martin chose the Wolverines ahead of Iowa and offers from some of the top programs in the country. Schools like Notre Dame, Ohio State and others reached out last week when he entered the transfer portal. The Hawkeyes jumped in with him right away when they learned he was leaving Michigan, and he visited last Thursday.”
It would be interesting to see if someone else has mentioned if those schools reached out or if it's just Rob's sources because he doesn't go into much detail. Not saying it didnt happen though but that's just vague.https://www.hawkeyenation.com/featu...pus-monday-will-join-hawkeyes-later-this-week

The biggest expectation I’ve seen for him on here is maybe getting 200 yards receiving and earn a starting spot.I just feel bad for the kid. All summer long the expectations have been building for him among Hawkeye fans. It's going to be nearly impossible for him to live up to them.
And if he isn't starting or seeing the field enough, the fans will be all over KF, just like they were with Fant at the end of the year last season.
Very tough spot for the kid to be in. Can't win. And to think, these are all the reasons he left the state to begin with by going to Michigan.
I went through some of the tweets and there were tons of Michigan fans coming out and saying that Martin was probably 5th or 6th best WR on their roster and there were rumors that he was going to get jumped by a redshirt freshman and another sophomore on the depth chart.
Fanboi Chad agrees.Fan tweets are certainly more reputable than the coach saying he was at the top of their depth chart.

It's also unfortunate that a kid moving back close to home to be with his ailing mother doesn't get a waiver from the NCAA, but a kid who doesn't like his OC does. The kid with the ailing mother probably couldn't afford an expensive lawyer.
Did you see the Murph and Andy poll? The biggest expectation I’ve seen for him on here is maybe getting 200 yards receiving and earn a starting spot.
lol
No, they suck.Did you see the Murph and Andy poll?
That's not mooing, that's booing.no one deserves to be made into a golden cow
a shame on iowa city and brian

Yes. Only the Hawkeye Heaven ones. No, they suck.
Was the poll open to Iowa fans only?
Ok, I’ll concede that one.Yes. Only the Hawkeye Heaven ones.
