Hawk fans gonna turn on Stanley

I'm looking forward to seeing Stanley in person on 9/14, and I will give him a fair shake to impress me.

FWIW, the last CFB Game I attended in person was the Orange Bowl last year with Tua and Kyler Murray at QB for the respective teams!

Let's see what Mr. Stanley has.

Not near as much as the two you saw at the Orange Bowl.

Iowa claimed a national title after going 8-1-1 in 1958, even though LSU went undefeated at 11-0. Talk about mythical championships.

That’s different though.

Seriously though, is it possible to be more insecure than these guys here are? Dog nuts is on his 5th or 6th profile. Yeah buddy is in double digits. Benj the liar is at least on 5. And of course Jeff reninga sets the standard.

Again, you guys don't care about actual wins...

That's such a stupid take. Just because Iowa State beat two top teams in 2017, doesn't mean Iowa wouldn't have done it in the regular season that year. As much as we talk down that year's schedule of Iowa's, Iowa played the teams that were put in front of them and beat them.

Purdy last year was way better than pick six Rick ever was at Iowa

Rick became a pretty serviceable QB once they quit letting him throw across the middle and just be a game manager.

In all seriousness though when Stanzi was there those were probably the most well rounded offenses that Kirk has had in the last 15 years. The offensive lines were really good, the RB position was good, and Iowa actually had talented WR's that complimented their TE's. Once they reeled Stanzi in and made him a game manager they really didn't ask him to do much. That 2010 team really underachieved at 7-5, both sides of the ball were stacked.

Hokroaches are extremely triggered. Mom must have made them clean up their basement bedroom.

I wouldnt call the 2009 offense well rounded, they really struggled to run the ball IIRC.
