Purdy or Andrew Luck?

I agree with that as well. That's the other side of the argument to all of this. As much as you want kids to feel comfortable where they're at, there should probably be consequences to transferring unless there are other circumstances at play. I honestly am not sure whether or not a change in the OC is grounds for an immediate waiver to play. With Tom Manning back as the OC this year, would anyone on ISU who wanted to leave last year be able to play this upcoming year?
Or better yet they leave because Manning is going to run the unit. The request borders on absurd in my book.

You may want to check Montgomery's stats and the rushing D's he put up numbers against the last 2 seasons.
I'd be glad to.

2017-2018: #33 OSU - 105 yds, #39 Iowa - 112 yds, #50 OU - 139 yds (all purpose however almost every catch was behind the line of scrimmage), #65 TTU - 164 yds

2018-2019: #33 TCU - 101 yds, #38 Washington State - 124 yds, #48 WVU - 189, #55 KSU - 149

In the last two years, Iowa State has played 3 games in which the defense ranked lower than #96: Akron (2x), and then WVU in 2017-2018. Last year, Nebraska would have been the worst rushing defense we would have played all year long besides Akron. So yes, they were worse than teams like Oklahoma State, Kansas, and Baylor in regards to rushing defense.

Baylor gave up almost half of a yard more per rush than Nebraska did last season.

What are you using? Rushing yards allowed per game?

Rushing yards allowed per carry seems like it would be better to use.

Iowa has never averaged over 4 rushing yards per carry under Brian Ferentz. Crazy

Baylor also gave up 12 yards less per game. Both teams were bad at it, Nebraska was worse.

Btw, using rushing yards per carry like you said, Baylor would've been ranked 100 and Nebraska would've been ranked 97. Nebraska was even worse in that category but they did beat Baylor!

Wasn't very impressed actually. I know he played better earlier in the season because his numbers said so.

His QB rating was 13.4 points higher that game than Stanley had for the entire season and he rushed the ball for 46 yards and 2 TDs. Lol you weren't very impressed but then go on and say Stanley is good

Kansas State (3rd to last game of the year) - 337 yards passing 2 TD's, Washington State (Bowl Game) - 315 yards with 2 rushing TD's. Unless you're trolling, I have no idea what you're talking about.

What about the turnovers?
