I hope Gunnerson picks the Cyclones, but if he doesn't we will be ok. Ultimately it is the kids choice where he wants to go to school.

Both my kids go to Iowa State. They both visited other places, but they felt Iowa State was the best fit for them. They both love it.

Well based on some posts of the past on various board, a big part of the problem was the fact the kid did not think Campbell was going to be here all 4 years.

Now maybe they have gotten beyond that and you could be right its just a personal preference at this point.

Its a tough choice, regardless of where the kid goes I hope he succeeds at whatever he does

If he really grew up a cyclone fan you would think there would be distain for Nebraska? But the cyclones are build on many people not one. We will be fine either way.

I would be more upset if we still had Rhoads and Gunnerson was a MUST GET before we end up with someone that should be going to North Texas instead. I absolutely want Gunnerson to be a Cyclone but we will be okay without him too.

100% on this. CMC has plenty of other irons in the fire so to speak.

Why play for one of the best defensive coordinators in the country? As a Cyclone fan, why would you want to play for your supposed favorite team at arguably the best time in the program's history? Why play for one the hottest and P5 proven head coaches in the country?

I used to be pretty neutral on Nebraska, but I see that Frost is going to change that.
