Why play for one of the best defensive coordinators in the country? As a Cyclone fan, why would you want to play for your supposed favorite team at arguably the best time in the program's history? Why play for one the hottest and P5 proven head coaches in the country?

I used to be pretty neutral on Nebraska, but I see that Frost is going to change that.

I would be more upset if we still had Rhoads and Gunnerson was a MUST GET before we end up with someone that should be going to North Texas instead. I absolutely want Gunnerson to be a Cyclone but we will be okay without him too.

It would be great to keep as much in-state talent as we can, but if we don't sign this kid I trust CMC and staff will find another stud that wants to be part of something special in Ames. Ala, Mike Rose.
