Next Year's (Tournament?) Team/Potential

What I have heard multiple people say and there might be some truth to it is Iowa State seems to bring in a lot of transfers each year just like they did this spring and then when the season comes the team has issues with team chemistry. They have a hell of a lot of tallent each year but cant gel as a team because the players they bring in are only there 2 years or so and they cant build up that "team" play

If you want to talk about potential, look at 20-21. Landing Foster and Blackwell is possible. Imagine this starting lineup:

Haliburton
Bolton
Blackwell/Lewis
Foster
Young

Giggity.

I don't think there is any reason to redshirt him unless it is for a legit medical reason.

I see your point. Prohm expressed regret at the end of the season for not redshirting Zion, so I just think he's going to more mindful of that option going forward. I hope he flashes and can be a contributor next year

Jamal Tinsley, Calvin Cato, Kenny Pratt, Dedric Willoughby, Kentrel Horton, Deandre Kane, Chris Babb and a bunch of others say 'Hi'.

Chemistry is something that's not just 'built' and many times it doesn't happen no matter how long people are together.

How many of those are under Prohm? What im saying is the current teams under him have had team chemistry problems and problems off the court. Over the last few years how many times have you heard " if only we had a leader"

Well, by the time the season starts you probably WILL be able to bet on it.
No you wont. That is not something that they put up as a bet. The ones you can bet on is if they will win the b12 or win the national title...there are no odds for if a team will make the ncaa tourny

OK, I am not a gambler and have no idea what is available. I was under the impression that if you are willing to put up the cash, someone is ALMOST always willing to take the bet (but you might not like the odds).

The casino's wont have that as an option. Your co worker might take the bet but that is something you could of done the last 100 years

Conversations with yourself don't count as "multiple people"

You must live in EIU...

Prohm has only brought in one transfer with Bolton who depending on the waiver may play next year. Nixon practiced with the players in the system all year so that should benefit the "team" play regardless.

If your referring to the 4 freshman as new players, they likley won't be required to play major minutes, though I am sure one or two will be able too. Regardless it didn't limit Haliburton, Wigginton, or THT's production playing right away.
All major programs are replacing players with new transfers or Freshman, thus all teams are learning to play together, thus it is a level playing field.
