I don't want to paint with too large a brush but ya'll are dumb.
Has nobody on here ever heard a coach give an introductory presser before?

Seemed like an awkward press conference to me...maybe it was that Bill Moos is not a very articulate athletic director.I don't want to paint with too large a brush but ya'll are dumb.

??? Husker basketball support is just as impressive as ours. They packed their arena for a mediocre team this year.Fred said that the Husker fanbase was "second to none"?
If that's what he said, then f*** Fred.... that is all. He can coach wherever he wants, I don't care, but he doesn't have to rub it in our face and outright lie.

Loyal Sons Forever True. Dude used us to get an NBA job and then says he’d like to retire a Husker. What a legend.

I just want him to reach his dream. And if he nabs a couple ISU recruits...well, that's just part of the dream.

Imagine typing this/I'm going to give the insight from someone who didn't grow up a Cyclone, and didn't give two ***** about Fred until he was a Timberwolve, and then when I decided to become a Cyclone 17 years ago.
Everything I know about him as a human is he's as good of a guy as there is. What upsets me as an Iowa State alum is that he basically used the job as a stepping stone, which is OK, but the way he left it stunted something that could've been truly great. The Warriors job when Kerr got it, the freaking Gopher job, and the well known rumors he was leaving KILLED the recruiting the last couple years. Its amazing Prohm was able to do what he's done with the hole we were in after the last guys graduated. I truly believe had he stayed, Coffee, Vaughn, Diallo, and a few others would've been Cyclones.
With that said, Steve Prohm is an incredible guy, loves it here, wants to stay here, and he can ******* coach. He's not perfect, but neither was Fred.
I wish Fred health and happiness in life. I also wish his NU teams lose every game that's not against the Hawks.
He must be getting a divorce then.
