Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

The Big 12 is better this year than the Big 10 and has been for many many years. Not sure what is trolling about that

Big Ten has a higher percentage of its teams in the Kenpom Top 50. If the B1G didn’t have Illinois dragging it down it would be far and away the better conference.

But like all other things you like to make excuses for, Illinois is in fact by far and away part of the B1G.

"far and away"

I'm going to go out on a limb and say every metric says the Big 12 is better

The other night during the Duke/Syarcuse game even the ACC homer Jay Bilas was commenting on how the Big 12 is the real deal year in and out. Who GAF if you have a couple of highly ranked teams when the majority of the conference will only play them once. There is nowhere to hide in the Big 12.

Conferences look pretty even to me this year

They are only a few spots below Kansas State and Baylor in Kenpom. I guess those teams must suck, too. Can you imagine what kind of team would lose to both of those garbage opponents?
Penn State is 0-6 in the Big 10, most of all the losses blowouts and lost to the worst team in the Missouri Valley. If Kenpom is so important are you willing to admit Iowa sucks compared to Iowa State?

Penn State’s conference losses were to Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Maryland- They also happened to beat the #8 team in the country (according to Kenpom).

Well which one or few are your favorite/favorites? Just so we know for future reference.

Unlike football I really don't have a favorite. KenPom isn't meant to rank teams, he has admitted as much but it's a good tool to use. The AP Poll is legit and so is RPI/NET IMO
