Iowa Football Recruiting

I mean, if you want to start going name for name, Iowa’s list is going to be at least twice as long. There’s not a school in the country that has done a better job of turning lightly recruited players into NFL caliber players.

Feel free to list all the outliers if you want. I can go through and list 10x as many lightly recruited players that were misses under KF

It’s not really an outlier when someone has demonstrated the ability to consistently achieve the same result over a long period of time.

He misses way more than he hits on lowly rated recruits so yeah it's actually an outlier when they pan out

That’s some pretty flawed logic. I guess that means when Alabama sends a player to the NFL, it’s considered an outlier. Interesting.

Way more of Alabama’s recruits do not make it to the NFL from Alabama than recruits that actually do. Thus, when Alabama sends a recruit to the NFL, it must be considered an outlier. No?

Akrum Wadley didn't make the NFL and you used him as an example as a hit for KF so I'm confused why the NFL is the benchmark to see if a player is a hit or miss

I’m using your logic and extending it to a different set of facts/data.

What's my logic? I never once implied you had to go to the NFL to be a "hit"

You said that when someone “misses” way more than they “hit”, the “hits” are an outlier. In terms of sending recruits to the NFL, Alabama “misses” way more than they “hit”. Therefore, when Alabama sends a recruit to the NFL, it is considered an outlier- according to you, at least.

No wonder you thought your finals were rough. There is a short upstairs.
