Predict Next years ISU & Iowa b-ball records

Not really a surprise. There was a thread on here dedicated to that game and pregame it was "Iowa is going to get destroyed", post game it's "Oregon is awful and overrated". That kind of entertainment is going to draw in opposing fans.

Oregon lost to Texas Southern (at home) 89-84 - not a bad team, but one that the Cyclones beat by 12 a couple weeks ago.

Current Sagarin SOS: ISU 165, Iowa 269
It looks like it could be a special season if they can keep playing that level of teams

Yikes. Whether Oregon is overrated or not had nothing to do with the post, but you know that.

You were mocking us for saying Iowa would get destroyed and then watching them play we all realized Oregon was bad. Turns out we were right

so for future reference for ISU.

Play 5 games. 2 of them in New York against an overrated team and a local ESPN favorite that is ok. Beat them and magically you are ranked 14th.

If Iowa State started the season the same way Iowa did, your entire fan base would be talking about ending Kansas’s stranglehold on the Big XII and earning a protected seed in Des Moines for the NCAA Tournament. Don’t be dumb.

So this is just because they had a player out against Texas Southern, but Iowa really beat them.

Jesus Christ you are stupid

You apparently don’t know how to read, so I will try to slow this down for your simple mind.

I am saying that Oregon is a decent (not great) team right now, but they will be very good by the end of the season. In March, Iowa’s win over Oregon will look impressive, because no one (other than Iowa State and Oregon fans) will know or care that Oregon’s best player did not play against Iowa.

That might be a stretch considering they just lost to Texas Southern
